Barkster is a fun, social app you can use to find and keep track of buddies for your pets. Using our exclusive Pet Personality Profile, you can find potential, new buddies for your pet and evaluate how compatible they may be with each other.

The Pet Personality Profile is a series of eighteen questions that you answer about your pet describing their personality as well as their preferences in a potential playmate. Each potential buddy you encounter is evaluated against this profile and you are shown a buddy evaluation score of high, medium, or low along with the ability to invite them to be your pets buddy. Of course, the Pet Personality Profile is only one piece of determining how two pets may get along. Always supervise the interactions your pet has with other pets and use your best judgement as to the likelihood they will get along!

Barkster uses the new MultiPeer feature of iOS that, when active, finds nearby Barkster users and exchanges pet information with them to evaluate potential buddies. It also alerts you when your pets buddies are nearby. You can control what information is shared with other Barkster users, and you can turn off the Buddy Finder at any time. Please note that the Buddy Finder only works when Barkster is actively running!

You can also use Barkster to keep track of information about your pet including their physical measurements – height, length, weight, girth, neck size and paw size. This is particularly handy when out shopping for your pet (or one of your pets buddies) to help you determine the right size for collars, coats, harnesses and more.
